Bespoke was founded by Anne-Christine Axelsson, a passionate interior and fashion designer since over 30 years back.
She started her career after school where she followed her interest in interior and fashion design and studied the science of art and film at the Stockholm’s University.
After her studies and getting acknowledged into tailoring/textile and film production, she started working for the Swedish National Theatre. She worked in costume design, make-up and props for several musicals and opera productions; such as ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ in Sweden. Her Theatrical career continued, and she started at Cirkus Stockholm where she worked as a prompter for the musical ‘Chess’ and ‘Kristina from Duvemåla’.
In 1997, Cave Canem Bespoke was founded, a lifestyle boutique where people would find inspiration in interior, clothing, art and jewellery. That boutique was later on chosen and named in one of the Louis Vuitton’s city guides.
Today Cave Canem Bespoke AB provides and consults in interior and fashion design projects for TV set ups, commercials, Hotel rooms, Conference and Office spaces and as well private apartments. One of her past projects was for example being part in the interior and fashion design for former Absolut Ice Bar in Stockholm and London, and the international clothing brand GANT.
Anne-Christine builds her work on a Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui, which means wind and water. She strongly beliefs interior and fashion needs to be harmonized within its space and environment in order for one to achieve the balance in life.
Enjoy Bespoke and be inspired,
